I based this on 4 pattern pieces, because the front, sleeves and facings are mirror images of each side. This includes 1. putting 4 pieeces into our computers, 2. perfecting the sample size in the computer, 3. grading it to three addtional sizes, 4. editing and labelling it, 5. sending you a proof of the graded nest to test. 6. editing anything you discovered in the test 7. printing a final copy to each size or the nest. Estimate printing final copy to a nest: $460 Estimate printing final copy to each size: $575 We can also do layouts for you. The cost would range from $250-$400. Let us know whether you'd like to proceed. If so, I will send you some information on how we work and what you need to send me. Thanks for your interest in our company! Hope to talk to you soon, Isabelle Isabelle M. Lott, Pattern Works Intl. I guess you could describe me as a sewing instructor, I do a lot of sewing tutorials. I will be making up some shirts for my husband and son for demonstration purposes (and as gifts) and based on the results, may decide to sell some. So I guess you'd say "manufacturer" although I'm not a manufacturer (yet). Then again, it's possible that I'll sell copies of the patterns if people ask for that (based on the sewing lessons) but I won't need sewing lines marked off or anything like that. > How do > you want the graded pattern printed....each size > individually or in a nest. > We print to 36" wide white paper. Can I get a quote for both? I guess the nest costs less but then I have to factor in the time it would take to trace off each size if I want to keep the sizes intact. Right? I'd prefer each size individually tho. > > We usually like 30 days, to work you into our > schedule. It depends on our > work load. I'll be starting this specific sewing lesson the last week of October so I'd need it by then. thanks so much! Thanks for giving me all the information on your pattern re sizes and pattern pieces! I have a couple of questions that will influence the cost. Are you a independent pattern company, a custom designer or a manufacturer? How do you want the graded pattern printed....each size individually or in a nest. We print to 36" wide white paper. We usually like 30 days, to work you into our schedule. It depends on our work load. If you are in a hurry, we could probably work you into a shorter time frame. Right now we are not too booked. Look forward to your reply..... Isabelle Isabelle M. Lott, Pattern Works Intl. Is it true you do grading? If so, I need a quote for a casual men's shirt to be graded S-L-XL (I have the M). Pieces: 2 fronts 1 back 2 sleeves 2 front facings Also, can you tell me how long this would take? I can ship my pattern this afternoon. Please let me know what I need to send you. Thanks so much Kathleen
